AI Detector (Chrome Extension)

AI Detector ("the extension") is a Chrome Extension provided by Grant Report (moment.report). This policy describes what data the extension handles and how.

What data we process

When you highlight text on a webpage and select "Check if AI-generated" from the right-click menu, the extension sends only that selected text to our server for analysis. The extension does not read, collect, or transmit anything else from the pages you visit.

How we use it

The selected text is used solely to generate an AI-detection confidence score, which is returned to you in the extension. The text is processed transiently and is not stored, logged, or retained after the analysis completes.

What we don't collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information. We do not track your browsing history, clicks, or activity. The extension requires no account and no login.

Rate limiting

To prevent abuse, our server briefly uses your IP address to enforce request rate limits. IP addresses are used only for this purpose and are not stored as user data or linked to any profile.

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the AI-detection result.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
